Why you can trust it

Every guide published by the Physiotherapist India Team carries the same contract

Not a promise in an "about" page — a set of things printed on the page itself, where they can be checked.

  • A named authorWith stated qualifications and named affiliation. The Physiotherapist India Team does not publish anonymous clinical content.
  • An independent reviewerClinical guides name a second qualified clinician who is not the author. Curriculum and study resources are reviewed by the Physiotherapist India review team, and say so. Every page states which applies.
  • An evidence gradeHow strong the evidence actually is, using GRADE — including when it is weak.
  • Review datesWhen it was last reviewed and when the next review is due. Overdue pages say so.
  • Working citationsClaims referenced to primary literature, with live DOI or PubMed links.

Where a page carries no reviewer line, review is outstanding — not skipped silently. We would rather show you the gap than imply it isn't there.

Learning modules

Objectives, worked examples and self-tests for students, faculty and anyone returning to a topic.

Every page names who wrote it and who checked it

Three sections, built to the same contract. Nothing appears in any of them until a second clinician has read it.

Condition guides

37 guides across neurological, musculoskeletal and spinal, cardiopulmonary, pelvic health and paediatrics — what the condition is, what rehabilitation involves, and what the evidence does not support.

Clinical content here is authored by named clinicians of the Physiotherapist India Team and reviewed before publication by a second named clinician, with Dr Dharam Pandey as Chief Editor. Where he is the author, a different named clinician reviews it — no one reviews their own work, and every clinical page carries both names. This is a personal professional platform: it is not published by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Manipal Hospitals.

Looking for treatment?

Physiotherapist India explains. It does not treat.

There is no booking, no consultation and no clinical service on this website — deliberately. The Physiotherapist India Team publishes what the evidence supports and what it does not; if you need assessment or rehabilitation, take it to a qualified physiotherapist who can examine you.

Where we draw the line

What the Physiotherapist India Team will not do

Worth saying plainly, because a lot of health content does the opposite.

  • No paid placements, sponsored posts or paid links in clinical content.
  • No superlatives — no "best", "leading" or "number one" about any provider.
  • No treatment claims the cited evidence does not support.
  • No individual clinical advice through this website.
  • No patient testimonials, star ratings or promotional claims.
  • No page published on AI-generated content alone — every clinical claim is verified by a named clinician.
