The terms on which physiotherapistindia.com is offered, and what its clinical information can and cannot do for you. Please read the medical disclaimer before relying on anything published here.

Medical disclaimer

Everything published on physiotherapistindia.com is for education and information only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for assessment, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.

  • Reading this website does not create a therapist–patient or doctor–patient relationship with Dr Dharam Pandey, the Physiotherapist India Team or any clinician named here.
  • Physiotherapist India does not assess, diagnose or treat, and takes no bookings or consultations.
  • Rehabilitation is individual: information that is right for one person may be unsafe for another. Speak to a qualified physiotherapist or doctor before starting, stopping or changing any exercise or treatment.
  • Never ignore professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.
  • In a medical emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not rely on these pages.

1. About this website

physiotherapistindia.com (“Physiotherapist India”) is an editorial initiative of Dr Dharam Pandey and the Physiotherapist India Team. It publishes evidence-based physiotherapy and rehabilitation resources for clinicians, students, patients and carers. Dr Dharam Pandey is Chief Editor. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

2. For healthcare professionals and students

Clinical guides, protocols and learning resources support professional judgement; they do not replace it. Apply them within your own scope of practice, to the individual in front of you, and alongside the guidelines and regulations that apply where you practise. Check doses, contraindications and precautions against current primary sources before use.

3. Accuracy and currency

Content is written by named clinicians, referenced to its sources and dated. Each page is reviewed by a clinician other than its author, and a page whose review is not yet complete says “Review pending”, as set out in the editorial and review policy. Evidence changes, and despite that care a page may contain an error or become out of date. Physiotherapist India makes no promise that any content is complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose. To report an error, write to info@physiotherapistindia.com; corrections are handled as described in the editorial policy.

4. Links and references to other websites

Pages link to journal articles, guidelines and other external sources so that readers can check the evidence. Physiotherapist India does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement. Physiotherapist India does not refer readers to any clinic, hospital or other named provider.

5. Copyright and use of content

Unless stated otherwise, text, original figures and design on this website are the copyright of Physiotherapist India. You may read, print and share pages for personal, educational and non-commercial use, provided the source is acknowledged and the content is not altered. Any other use — including republishing, commercial use or bulk copying — needs written permission. The F-MATS framework is the work of Dr Dharam P. Pandey; reuse of its materials also needs his permission. Material from cited publications remains the property of its authors and publishers.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the website unlawfully, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, or collect its content by automated means without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Physiotherapist India, Dr Dharam Pandey and the clinicians named on this website are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, information published here. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Privacy

How the website handles information about visitors is explained in the privacy policy.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date below shows when they last changed; continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
